Cold Buster Green Smoothie

A perfectly bright and tasty, healthy green smoothie! Made with probiotic rich kefir, bright lemon, nutritious baby kale, vitamin rich pineapple and kiwi, antioxidant rich turmeric, ginger (which can help reduce nausea and inflammation), and honey for sweetness (and which can also be said to soothe a sore throat).

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Kefir
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup packed (30g) baby kale
  • 1 1/2 cups (slightly heaping) frozen pineapple chunks
  • 2 ripe kiwis, peeled
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp ginger paste or minced ginger
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and process until well pureed. Serve immediately.
