Green Juice
A nutritious and versatile fresh green juice made with lots of vitamin rich greens, a sweet apple, vibrant ginger and bright lime.

Ingredients
3
celery ribs,
halved
1/2
medium
cucumber
or 6 oz. broccoli stalks (not florets)
2
large
kale leaves,
or 5 oz. baby spinach, or half head romaine lettuce
1
medium
sweet apple
(such as gala or honeycrisp) cut into chunks, or 6 oz green grapes
3/4-inch
knob
ginger
or 1 small bunch mint
1/2
large
lime
or 1/2 small lemon, cut peel and white pith off*
Instructions
Add prepared ingredients in batches to an
electric juicer
and process according to juicer manufactures directions.
Serve right away or right away transfer to an airtight container and chill in fridge up to 1 day.
Notes
*Instead of cutting peel from the citrus you can just squeeze it's juice in after juicing the other ingredients.
You can also substitute leafy greens here with others such as green chard, collard greens, wheatgrass, or parsley.
Optionally try adding nutritious boosters such as green tea, spurlina, barely grass powder, or chlorella powder.
And try sweetening with other fruits such as pineapple, pear or a navel orange in place of apple or grapes.
For an acidic replacement for lemon or lime try 1/4 of a grapefruit.
