Cinnamon Candied Almonds

You wouldn’t believe how quickly a batch of these almonds disappears at my house! And they are a treat I feel better about feeding my family versus cookies, although we have plenty of those around here this time of year too – who am I kidding :)?

But the point is if you are looking for a treat that does have some nutritional value then this is a good way to go.

The Brand of Nuts I Use

For as long as I can remember I’ve been using Fisher Whole Almonds or Pecans for this recipe. Fisher is a brand I’m confident in and I love knowing their nuts are preservative free!

The only ingredient is the nuts. Just the way it should be.

I’ve been a Fisher ambassador for three years now and I hope to be for many more because it’s a product I truly love and value.

Fisher nuts also make for a super healthy snack – one my family enjoy constantly throughout the week. Sure the salted varieties of nuts are good but who needs the added sodium?

My husband loves to throw them in his protein shakes too.

The Perfect Christmas Gift!

These would make a perfect gift to give for friends or loved ones for Christmas. I’m thinking these will be my treat to make and share this year because they are so easy to make yet they are so amazingly delicious!

Once you start popping them you can’t stop. I think I ate half the jar myself today.

Another Variation on This Recipe

Another variation I love on these, which is a chai spice blend I use:

  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp dried ginger
  • 3/4 tsp cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/8 tsp ground pepper

Surprisingly the flavors aren’t nearly as bold as you think they’d be and they’re so delicious.

Cinnamon Candied Almonds

Just try not to finish all of these off before they make it to being shared ;).

I’ve seen them made with just water and no egg. So I’d add a few extra tablespoons (maybe 2 or 3).

Yummy yummy yummy for my tummy!!!
I love candied nuts, but not the candied nuts price. I’ve made these a couple of times and my husband and I live them. They’re so easy to make. Thanks so much for the recipe.

Fantastic! Had a huge bag of dry roasted almonds from Costco, so I used my giant roaster and doubled the batch. Took an extra 30 minutes but turned out great. This is a keeper – thank you!

This recipe is soooo good. I used only 3 cups of sliced almonds (from Costco) and not whole almonds like the recipe calls for and it works great. I used only 2/4 teaspoon kosher salt as I didn’t have any sea salt and I loved that hint of salt it adds to the sweetness. And I used only 1 teaspoon of vanilla. I don’t think I’ll be buying any candied almonds from now on. This is my go to savory sweet snack. …See now I can’t stop eating them. Thanks!

This is the second recipe I’ve tried. This one is by far the best. I made them last night and they’re half gone already. I’ll be sure to make these as and give as gifts. Thanks!

I just made my 2nd batch of these deeelicious almonds. I used Blue Diamond lightly salted almonds (not raw) and they worked out great. The 1st batch I cut back on the salt, 2nd batch I added the full amount – just right! Thanks for a great recipe. Merry Xmas!
