Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

You’ll love how the peanut butter flavor of these cookies is so pronounced because it isn’t hidden by the use of any flour. Talk about tons of peanut butter flavor!

These are rich and sweet, and they are chewy yet they’re soft and melt-in-your mouth at the same time.

If you haven’t tried flourless peanut butter cookies this weekend is definitely the time to try them – because weekends are for cookies right? And good cookies at that.

And I actually feel better about eating these cookies than a regular chocolate chip cookie – no flour and no butter so while they aren’t healthy they aren’t an all-out splurge either.

These are delicious, and super easy to put together. I think next time I will decrease the chocolate chips to about 2/3 cup instead of 1 cup, though. Otherwise, perfect!

I did a PB cookie taste-testing today trying 3 different PB cookie recipes, and this is one of them. I’d heard of flourless PB cookies, but haven’t made or thought about them for years until you posted this recipe on your blog. These cookies are really delicious, and I love the soft, tender texture. I like doing large cookie buffets for parties or gatherings, and this would make a great addition for those who need a gluten-free option. This recipe is a keeper!
Thanks for another great recipe, Jaclyn!

Hi Jaclyn, thank you for a great recipe. the texture is wonderful! I know we must sound crazy, but we found them to be just a touch too sweet. I was wondering if we could cut the sugar to about 1/2 cup without compromising the texture. Thanks for all of your fabulous recipes!

Personally I’d start by removing a few tablespoons, then try a few more the next time if it was successful, because like you say it could alter the texture. You could also add in some salt to balance it out. And what I might suggest also is using all brown sugar when reducing the amount of sugar, because brown sugar offers more chewiness than white sugar does. Glad you enjoyed them though, thanks for your review :)!

Delicious! The look like they contain flour but don’t! They were quick and easy to make. So far, the best recipe I’ve tried that not killer sweet. Thanks so much!

Absolutely delicious! You would never guess they are floorless. Just copied into my permanent cookbook files. Thank you.
