Summer Fun with Capri Sun

07.29.2014

Is there anything more refreshing than an ice cold drink on a hot summer day? That’s why at my house, especially during the summer, we keep the fridge stocked with Capri Sun juice drinks. It is the drink of choice for my kids and it’s something I can feel confident in giving them. As a mother of two, I’m happy knowing that they are made without artificial flavors, colors and preservatives and they contain 25% less sugar than the leading regular juice drinks*. My kids love the way they taste and I love giving them something that is good for them. Most of the time, I myself usually reach for a Capri Sun versus a soda because I love their flavor and that they aren’t carbonated. And no, Capri Sun isn’t just for kids :). I especially love the all natural Capri Sun 100% Juice and that each pouch provides 1 1/2 servings of fruit.** Capri Sun 100% Juice My family has yet to find a flavor of Capri Sun we don’t love, and I’m sure we’ve tried them all. My latest favorites are the Capri Sun Wild Cherry Juice Drink, which is a base flavor juice drink, and the Capri Sun Berry 100% Juice.  We recently just got into the Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters Flavored Water Beverage varieties. Once I realized they were only 30 calories per pouch I knew we’d be buying them a lot more. Another thing I love about Capri Sun is the way they are conveniently packaged so they can fit into just about anything. They are very portable and convenient, meaning we can take them basically anywhere, which is what we do all summer long. As a Mom I’m always trying to incorporate more healthy activities into my family’s daily activities. One healthy activity I love is hiking, so recently we went took a family trip to Zion National Park. They have plenty of gorgeous hikes, many which are family friendly. Of course we brought Capri Sun juice drinks along and my kids were so excited to have them during the warm desert hikes. Here are some photos of our trip to Zion National Park, Utah. I told you they had gorgeous hikes… Zion National Park My brother came prepared. Seriously my niece has got it made. Zion National Park I could stay here a while. Zion National Park Take a break to build sand castles. Zion National Park Capri Sun juice drinks are such great drinks to have on hand during all your family summer fun activities. Aren’t they just a must for every beach day or picnic? I know they have been in my family, even since I was a young girl. They have less risk of getting sandy too, right? You open a can of soda at the beach and give it to your child, give it a minute or two and they’ll be complaining about a sandy drink. Not with these. Capri Sun 100% Juice Capri Sun Capri Sun Summertime is a great time to focus on a healthy family lifestyle, which means getting up and getting out more.  Capri Sun is a wholesome drink to always bring along. It’s good for Mom’s and awesome for kids. I hope you and your family have such a wonderful summer and find many healthy activities to enjoy that your whole family will love. Just don’t forget the Capri Sun :). Also, be sure to look for the new clear bottom pouches. Wondering what’s inside? Not a problem with these convenient clear bottom pouches. Consumers requested them and Capri Sun listened. For more info on Capri Sun check it out here, or visit their Facebook page.
