Peanut Butter Fruit Dip Snack Time

It’s that time of year again when kids are headed back to school, and many of you are looking for healthy school lunch snacks or after-school treats. This dip isn’t just great for kids though, this is a delicious dip that both young and old will love.

This dip makes healthy eating seem awesome (because yes, it can be when done right). It’s creamy and sweet yet at the same time, it is made with good-for-you ingredients. And if you’re a yogurt eater, you will likely even have all the ingredients stocked in your kitchen now.

With yogurt and peanut butter, you’re getting some filling protein—and you can try a more protein-rich option like Greek yogurt or mixing in vanilla protein powder.

Kid-Friendly Fruit Dip Recipe

You are going to love how incredibly easy it is to make! It only takes 3 simple ingredients and less than 2 minutes to prep. All you need is a bowl, a whisk (or fork even), and a little bit of muscle. The simple fruit dip ingredients and the easy preparation make this the perfect recipe to make with your kids. Even a toddler could help you stir together yogurt and peanut butter!

Ways to Enjoy Peanut Butter Fruit Dip

We love to pair this fruit dip with, well, fruit obviously! Apples, bananas, and strawberries are our favorite fruits to dip into this peanut butter spread, but choose your favorite fruits to try. This peanut butter dip is also delicious with graham crackers, pretzels, Biscoff, and other simple cookies. You may even want to spread it on toast for a yummy, healthy breakfast!

Enjoy!

So delicious!!! My two year old and seven year old are three apples with it! Then they asked for a sandwich with banana and this dip on it. Very good! We are going to start making this to eat with our apples since it’s with basic ingredients we always have on hand

Can you do it a day ahead and leave in the fridge? Still tasty?

Yes that would be fine. It will just be a bit thicker since the peanut butter will be cold.

    Hiya!

Just here to say YUM (made this as a sweet dip for a gaming evening) – and to let everybody know that the vegan version (oat/soy yoghurt and maple syrup instead of greek yoghurt and honey) is YUM as well! :)

    Love,

I have been following your blog regularly for almost a year. But I have been making this dip for over three years. I didn’t even make the connection that this recipe was from your blog until I made it last night. I just happened to look across the top of the page and saw “cookingclassy.com” in small print. Made me chuckle! Anyhow, this dip is addicting. I use strawberries and bananas and just can’t get enough of it. It is my go-to snack when I am trying to clean up my eating act. It was time to take a break from all the refined sugar and even my baking routine. This dip always fits the bill and doesn’t leave me feeling like I’m missing out! Fantastic dip recipe (even the hubs, who doesn’t like Greek yogurt, loves this).
